Texas Realtors endorse Cynthia Flores for House District 52

The Texas Association of Realtors Political Action Committee, the political arm of the Texas Association of Realtors, announced support of Republican Cynthia Flores for House District 52.

In making the announcement, TREPAC Chairman David Alan Cox said, “We are proud to support Cynthia Flores in her campaign to represent the constituents of HD 52. We are impressed with her command of the complex issues facing our great state and her dedication to protecting homeowners in Central Texas and statewide.”

“Looking ahead to the 86th legislative session, many discussions are centered on property tax reform, public school finance, and infrastructure solutions,” said Cox. “With so much at stake for homeowners right now, we believe her commitment to finding fiscally responsible, sustainable solutions will make her a valuable addition to the Texas House.”

Texas Realtors advocate for homeowners and private-property rights by supporting conservative efforts to enhance the lives of Texas property owners, such as support for property tax reform in 2017 and prohibiting sales taxes on real estate in 2015, passing consumer protections against unscrupulous property-tax lenders in 2013, and eliminating most private transfer fees on real estate transactions in 2011.
